Monica Nevi is a native of Washington State, having grown up about 20 minutes south of Seattle. A collegiate basketball player, after injuries ended her career she decided to move forward with the other thing people love that women do and pursue her strong interest in stand-up comedy. Years later, Monica has had the privilege of performing in the 208 Comedy Festival, Bridgetown Comedy Festival as well as an hour solo show at the Bumbershoot Music and Arts Festival. She created, produced and hosted a documentary series on Amazon Prime called ‘80 For 80.’ She has been seen on FOX’s nationally syndicated Laughs TV Show and Seattle TV shows New Day Northwest and [the 206]. Monica is also the co-host of the popular HugLife Podcast and the producer and star of the web series ‘Mellowing Out with Monica.’
